I'm baaaacckkk!
I know, it's been a while since I last wrote about the cloth diaper survey. I have been distracted by a lot of things. And today, is no exception - well, except I needed to distract myself from the wrath of 'Maring'. So, in order to make myself productive, I looked at my to-do list and viola!, everything just fell into place.
This is the third installment- which means, we're almost done. In this post, I will present to you the data gathered from the third page of the survey.
The Survey Questions
Before that, here's a quick recap of the survey results:
As cloth diaper retailers, we want to have an overview of the buyers' preferences. Specifically, we want to know two things: what are their considerations when purchasing a cloth diaper, and if most people are open to buying pre-owned items.
The Survey Results
The Next Purchase
Based on the results, most of the respondents are still building their stash.
The Retailers
As cloth diapering moms, we bought our cloth diapers from local online retailers. Last year, Multiply was our go-to site for cloth diapering needs. But lately, even before Multiply took its final bow, we were already buying from Facebook shops (or pages).
The results have validated our expected outcomes. Will this trend change in the near future? We'll see...
The Purchase Factors
Now, what are the factors that they normally consider before buying cloth diapers? In my case, I have this set of questions to help me decide:
- Is it a cover? *Methinks this is cost-effective*
- Is the closure hook & loop or velcro? *Must be daddy-friendly!*
- Is the brand known for good quality products? *I lurk the MCNP FB group to find the reviews I need*
- Will it fit my son? *He has what we call thunder thighs*
Looking at the chart, the main factors for purchasing a cloth diaper are:
- Quality
- Price
- Features and Design/Prints
Pre-Owned or Not
Will you purchase a pre-owned cloth diapers? I will!
