During medieval times, the lady of the manor was in charge of the castle's day-to-day operations. She ordered supplies, supervised the household servants. She has to make sure that her children are taken care of. And lest we forget - she also has to be a good hostess to guests.
Centuries later...
Well, the situation hasn't changed much - not on this side of the planet, anyway. The wives, the keeper of the house, are still expected to do those things. On top of having a job to help fill the family coffers. It's quite challenging to balance all these things. And add to that the responsibilities of motherhood.
We at Mommy HQ understand the feeling well. As new wives and moms, we would often be at a loss on how to deal with marriage and parenthood. Having a support group composed of family and friends helped us adjust to life's demands. And we wish to pay it forward by sharing our experiences with others.
